Manage all activities related to occupational safety, health and environmental
within the manufacturing facility and ensures that the facility is in
compliance with OSHA and federal & stateRecommend and assist in the

-Contribute to a collaborative safety culture that
-Drive Safety initiatives, and serve as the Safety
spokesperson for creating a safe work environment, and compliance with all
safety practices and procedures
-Develop and implement programs and procedures to reduce
-Support a safety culture through training, risk
assessments, and behavior-based safety programs.
-Develop presentations for safety / OSHA training
-Establish plant safety and continuous improvement
-Perform safety audits of processes and procedures
-Lead safety meetings
-Perform safety training as part of new employee
-Lead 3rd party safety, clinic relations, work
compensation, case management and RTW programs
-Coordinate safety activities and prepare monthly
-Provide training on safety programs
-Administration/setup of hearing tests (led by 3rd party)
What you need to succeed:
-High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences, Business, Engineering or a minimum of 1 year in a Safety, Environmental and Health position.
knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
-Must have a thorough knowledge of record keeping requirements for injury reporting.
-Must have the ability to
plan, develop and conduct training sessions and programs regarding safety issues and promotion
